Timeline – Enhancements

Pickup Report – Overhaul

1. The pick up report has a new screen, allowing the user to select the period which he wants to view, filtering out based on DOW, season and event or non event days. It also gives the option to group arrival dates by week or month (using Granularity feature).
2. In addition, it also gives the possibility to select the segmentation of each arrival date’s data, using the Split function Only hotels with PMS’s that deliver data at reservation level or aggregate per channel and room types will have those options. The segmentation by segment groups or market segments is available to all hotels.
3. The split values are visible when clicking the small downward arrow of each arrival date.
4. Possibility to Sort by “A Z, Z A, Share (Market Segments Channels Room Types)
5. Pickup Today and P 1 values (or P1 and P2 for non quasi live hotels) are displayed by default. The user has the possibility to add more column sets for other pickup periods (standard ones or custom ones).
6. Delete Pickup columns (only when multiple columns are displayed).
7. The report can be exported in an Excel.

Pickup Today – New Feature

Quasi live pickup

  • The system has now the possibility to handle PMS updates every 15 minutes. Hence, a new option (Pickup Today) has appeared in the application (Timeline, New Pickup Report) where pickup information is displayed (along with the traditional P1, P2, etc. options).
  • This functionality is still in beta testing.
  • !!! At the moment only hotels using the Mews PMS are eligible to get this feature activated.

Events Categories – New Feature

1. User defined event categories are now available, in replacement to the static categories based on importance levels that existed before.
2. The users has the opportunity to group events in more than the pre existing 7 event importance types.
3. The categories are fully arbitrary.
4. There is an option to define colors for each event type created.
5. By default, the system will create the standard importance based categories (this also for backward compatibility).

Pricing Screen – New Menu

  • The system now has a screen where prices can be easily managed.
  • The screen displays a full year table for each room type defined in the system Each rate plan is a separate tab.
  • The user can edit manually the prices for all room types and rate plans defined in the system (for adults, from 1 to 5 the minLOS restriction)
  • At the top, the list of buttons control which values are present in the tables.
  • The RECO button will display the recommendations (if they exist) for all displayed values.
  • For convenience, there is also an option to do bulk edits (for cases when the same price or minLOS value is needed on a longer period of time).

For convenience, the bulk edit option was introduced for cases when the same price or minLOS value is needed on a longer period of time.

The user can view all the pricing adjustment s that have been made in the last 12 hours.

Price Dependency Formula – Enhancement

1. Add Edit Formula Enhancement possibility to add both percent and integer in the same formula.
2. Formula Preview added in the Edit Formula screen.

Breakfast in Algo – New Feature

  • New parameter in Hotel Rates was added Excluding / Including Breakfast.
  • This Parameter allows the user to define if the Hotel Rates (boundaries) include the Breakfast value or not.
  • The Parameter assures that the RECO is made for a rate including / excluding Breakfasts and is looking at the competitors’ rates for fine tunning.

Min LoS – Enhancement

  • In Compset Report and Channel Value Index, when the MinLoS filter is used, all rates that are equal or higher than the MinLoS selected will be displayed.
  • In Compset Report the value of MinLoS is displayed when hovering the date.
  • In Dashboard and Timeline (daily view) the system will display the rates for all MinLoS values found, starting with the smallest value defined in the backend. The values which are different from the smallest one are marked with an exclamation mark.
