Timeline – New Features & Enhancements
New Features
1. The order of the columns can be changed using the “Edit Columns” feature (drag and drop).
2. The columns now have “short” and “long” names. The timeline columns display the short name and, on mouseover, the long name. The Edit popup displays both short and long names, in this format: “Long name (short name)“.
3. The user can now directly add a comment from Timeline, without having to open the Day Inspector.
4. Upon hovering over the sent prices in the SENT column, the changes per master room rate offer and master PAX are displayed.
GUI Changes
5. The edit button is displayed now as a (+) When clicking the (+) button, the “Edit Columns” popup is opened.
6. The user can now hide columns (similar to the pickup report).
7. The entire upper horizontal space next to “Timeline Settings” is now clickable to open and close the filter menu.
8. The “Filters” label was renamed to “Timeline Settings”.
9. The timeframe and pickup columns are now displayed next to the “Timeline Settings” label.

Day Inspector – New Features
1. Users can now edit their own comments.
2. Possibility to create a comment for multiple days.
3. Sent Prices overview, displayed per room type, upon hovering over the room type (in the top right section).

Events – New Features
Copy Events
• It is now possible to copy events from one hotel to other hotels. The “Copy to” button has been added in Add / Edit event popup.
• Because the events categories may differ from one hotel to another, at the time of copying, the user can also select the category to which the event should belong after copying.

Import Events via XLS
1. The possibility to import events via XLS was added. The XLS file must have the exact column order as the exported XLS file (see below sample). The columns Category Name, Category Color, Accepted Event and Creation Date columns are optional.
2. After import, in case there are event categories that are not present at the hotel where the import is made, then they are automatically created as follows:
• if the Category Name is missing from XLS file, then the Category Name value will take the Category Code value (Category Code is required);
• if the Category Color is missing from XLS file, then it is created with a default color.
3. It is mandatory that the dates are in a detectable format: Excel Date format or even String. In case of String, all dates must be in the same format and the format must be detectable (i.e.: dd/mm/YYYY, mm/dd/YYYY, etc.), otherwise an error will occur.
4. If there is at least one import error, no events are imported, in order to avoid an incomplete import.

Settings – New Features
RECO Open / Close and min LoS
New settings for the recommendation of Open-Close Hotel and Min. Length of Stay, displayed in Timeline STATUS and Min. LoS Columns:
1. Closing Threshold
2. MinLoS Threshold
3. Shoulder data Difference

Miscellaneous
1. New navigation through date / month / period
Possibility to move through the months by selecting the month and year from a combo-box, in Compset Report, Events, Seasons and Capacity Management screens.

2. Calendars Improvements
The calendars in Dashboard, Timeline old, Timeline, Pickup Report, Day Inspector, MTM are no longer limited to 2 years in the past.
The minimum date that the user can select is the minimum date for which there is PMS data in the system.
The calendars in CompSet Report, Channel Value Index, Seasons and Capacity Management are now limited to 2 years in the past and 1 year in the future.
For Events, periods can be added / edited and imported outside this range.
3. Sent Prices Overview changes
The ‘sent prices’ pop up was changed. Now it contains:
• Time (DateTime when the update was sent);
• Rate (sent);
• Rate change (as a difference from previous sending of the same offer: room-rate-PAX);
• User (who made that change).
It is possible to see the last {x} changes. The {x} number changes is configurable, but can only be done by the developers at the moment. Currently, moment x = 5.
This popup is displayed:
• Upon hovering over the sent prices in the SENT column in Timeline.
• Upon hovering over the room type in Day Inspector (in the top right section).

4. User Settings
Design change: the user’s name (and logout icon) – in the upper right corner of the screen – has been replaced by the user’s picture.

Breaking Changes
1. The Timeline menu has been renamed to Timeline Old and the Timeline Beta menu has been renamed as Timeline.
2. Both menus are part of the same functionality: Basic Analytics, meaning that any user that has access to this functionality will see both screens.
3. Timeline (Beta) is now listed before Timeline Old.
